for the classic elegant couple

MEET TATIANA

It is so great to meet you! I am Tatiana, a Spanish wedding photographer in the Miami and Boston area.

I was born and raised in La Coruna, Spain. If you don’t know this region of Spain I strongly encourage you to check it out! It is breathtaking. I am the fifth of seven siblings and growing up in such a big family was not easy, but I always found a place in the arts. My parents were very supportive and they encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I moved to the United States, where Boston became my home, to learn a second language and pursue my artistic education.

After my first semester at The Art Institute of Boston, now merged with Lesley College, my brother introduced me to photography. I fell in love instantly with the art form. I then decided to pursue a BFA in photography. My initial interest was to become a photojournalist and travel the world photographing impactful moments in people’s lives. What I never thought is that I would fall in love with the wedding industry after a friend of mine asked me to photograph her special day. It was then that I found my calling to become a wedding photographer capturing memories in the most important moments of my clients’ lives.

What I love the most about photography is the personal connection that I get to develop with my clients. I love meeting them for the first time, learning about who they are, and being impressed by their lives and stories. Nothing brings me more joy than when I make them feel their best in front of the camera and provide them with photographs to remember those moments by.

“She is so much fun to work with and she really prioritizes getting to know you as a couple, which results in incredible shots! Her style is so elegant and she does a fantastic job at balancing the traditional wedding photos with fun candids which makes your photos feel special and authentic. She’s great at communicating and working with other vendors. She really made my husband and I feel like we were her only clients because she was so on top of planning with us and making sure we knew what to expect. Tatiana was so good at making family members and our bridal party comfortable during photos and she really knows how to get everyone to have fun with the whole process. She works so hard to get perfect photos and it really shows in her work! We couldn’t have worked with a better photographer and we’re so lucky we found Tati!”

I WILL ALWAYS FEEL LIKE A NEWLYWED!

Just so you know I am a hopeless romantic so I love sharing our love story. Juan and I met seventeen years ago when our friend Fernanda introduced us at a friend’s gathering. I always thought Juan was very handsome and extremely charming. I have a feeling he thought the same about me but up until this day he does not confirm it :) { in his sister’s speech at our wedding, she confirmed Juan liked me from the beginning and that he told her, one day he would marry me” } Over the years, we became good friends. Juan was in medical school and training for several years so we did not see each other as much as we used to. We respected each other very much and we never took that friendship into a relationship.

Seven year ago, God brought us together in an enchanting and unforgettable way. A friendship became love, a love that I always wished for, a love that I dream of, a love that I never found before. From that moment on, my life changed and I could not believe the true meaning of life was so clear, we were meant to be together and God had a purpose for us.

On 01.08.18 Juan proposed on a Monday night under a room full of candle light, with Bob Marley lyrics in the background (on our first date, Juan took me to a Ziggy Marley concert) On 11.25.18 we tied the knot on a beautiful Sunday evening in Puerto Rico surrounded by our closest friends and family.

Juan always asks me, “do you shoot weddings differently now that you are married?” I am not sure if I photograph them differently but I embraced them in a more personal and detailed way.

I hope these words tell you a little about me and I get to hear your love story! Looking forward to it!
