Senior Portrait Session at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart

… what are TB couples saying …

Choosing Tatiana as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and really took the time to get to know us and learn about our relationship. She encouraged us to do engagement photos which provided the perfect opportunity for us to not only get comfortable with her, but also with getting photographed. Leading up to the wedding, she was so helpful in crafting a timeline for the day and making sure we were organized, including finding an additional photographer to take photos of the guys getting ready. On the day of the wedding she was the calming presence that I needed and she was beloved by our (large) wedding party and families. She event returned to our reception after going home when she realized we never did photographs of the rings. I cannot say enough positive things about Tatiana - she is an amazing photographer but an even better person

Senior Portrait Session - Miami Senior Photographer - Carrollton School Senior Portrait

Hi there,

This is the story about meeting an outstanding family just a few weeks after arriving in Miami!

Victoria is a senior at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. She is a smart, talented, beautiful young woman who has attended this school since she was a baby. Now she is graduating and saying goodbye to the school, her teachers and her friends.

For her senior book every girl submits senior photos of themselves, with family and with friends.

Victoria’s mother Alina found me on Google just a few days after opening my business here in Miami. It was so unexpected since I had just arrived in Miami. However, I was excited and ready to connect and meet new clients.

From the moment Alina and I talked over the phone, we knew this was going to be a great fit. She understood how involved I would be in planning the shoot and making Victoria feel confortable and understanding her vision.

Alina invited me to her home in order to meet Victoria, review details, and to see if Victoria would be happy working with me. The moment I arrived in their home, they made me feel like another part of the family. We sat at the big island kitchen table and Alina offered me Cuban coffee right away! This was the cutest gesture as she came to the table passing these beautiful porcelain Cuban cups. Do you guys know much about Cuban coffee? Well it is very strong and I am hyper as it is.

With the excitement of getting to know new friends and given the amount of caffeine I consumed in that one Cuban coffee, we ended up talking for hours learning about each other. As the night approached family members kept arriving and I was enjoying tremendously the company and the genuine moments sharing with this gracious family who opened their home doors to me, a STRANGER.

Alina hired me that night and a beautiful friendship started!

From that day I worked together with Victoria helping her finding the right outfit and what props to bring to the session. We also met a week earlier to go over the school property showing me her favorite spots on campus and where she wanted to have photographs and memories captured.

We had a great time on the date of the photo shoot. What was supposed to be an hour session ended up being three hours. I guess time flew by as we had fun shooting.

Alina, Miguel (Victoria’s dad) and siblings Elisa and Eduardo joined in on the fun. We were able to add a mini family photo shoot at the end of Victoria’s high school senior shoot. This was super cute since I captured few kissing photos of Alina and Miguel and this was so embarrassing for the kids. This moment showed me the kind of loving and joyful parents they are and I loved capturing these moments.

Spending a few hours with Victoria and her family allowed me to get to know them and appreciate the incredible family they are. They love each other, support each other and more importantly they laugh at and with each other.

Meeting the Baena family made feel welcomed and appreciated in this new city I’ve just arrived in. Thank you Alina, Miguel, Elisa, Eduardo and Victoria.

Victoria, you did great and I adore you!
