 When Rita and Dan told me they were willing to travel from Boston to Miami for their Vizcaya Museum engagement photos I was delighted! I am convincing my new couples to make the trip to Miami, shoot at a new location while having a fun adventure celebrating the planning and wedding journey! A little bump in the session didn't stop us from accomplishing what the couple came to do! By the photos you could never tell there was an enormous wedding being set up at the same time we were shooting at the location.  The lovebirds impressed me with their positive and fun vibes! We had the best time getting to know one another and talking all things wedding for their upcoming big day at Granite Links.

Vizcaya Gardens are Worth Exploring

Vizcaya’s gardens are European inspired and a must see if you are ever in Miami, Florida. They are some of the most elaborate gardens located in the United States. The Gardens are designed to remind us of the seventeenth and eighteenth century gardens in Italy and France. Conceived as a series of rooms, the geometric landscape design is breathtaking. Within Vizcaya, you will find four distinct gardens: the Secret Garden, the Maze Garden, the Theater Garden. On the sides there is a preserved native forest.

Throughout the gardens you will see a plethora of architectural structures, gorgeous fountains and commissioned sculptures. There are endless possibilities for engagement photos with a multitude of backgrounds to capture the endless love of the TBP couples. As a Miami engagement photographer, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are one of my favorite spots! Mature trees and vines are found throughout the property. The lighting is picture perfect with just enough shade provided by the trees to allow that golden hour sunlight to beam through.
