… what TB couples are saying …

Tatiana was a dream!!!

Working with Tatiana was a dream!! From our first meeting, to continued communication during the wedding planning, and throughout our entire wedding day, Tatiana was so professional, knowledgeable, and precise. She listened to our vision, and made it more beautiful than we could have imagined. On the day of our wedding, we did our photos before the ceremony and she made it so much fun! Tatiana was so comfortable and easy to be around... like we had been friends for years. When we got to our ceremony, she captured every important aspect, small detail, and special moment. She even got my camera-shy dad to laugh and smile for the camera! I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Tatiana. If you’re looking for a talented, passionate professional, look no further!!!

Hi there,

I am extremely excited to share this blog post with you all, as it’s every wedding photographer‘s dream, to have the couple for as long as one wants. What was suppose to be a two hour session to cover a ceremony and few family photos, turned out into a full day of celebration, love, fun and family time.

Sara and Brian supposed to get married on April 18th, 2020. Like many other couples they had to postpone their wedding until next year. As disappointed as they could be, their hope to still get married this year didn’t stop them. So… they waited patiently for the city to open their church who they loved so much since Sara’s grandfather was one of the founders.

One thing you might not know about me is that the moment the pandemic started I travelled to Houston where my husband is doing a year fellowship in MD Anderson Cancer Center. I am sure Sara was worried about me not being able to capture her ceremony, but she never showed such feeling. We were in touch constantly as in these hard times I wanted to be a support system to all my TB brides. I told Sara I would come to Boston the moment they made a decision. She could not believe I would travel just to cover the ceremony but I explained to her that I could not have anyone but me cover such important moment in her life. I was their photographer and this was my responsibility and desire.

By the way…. have I tell you how much I love my job ?

Three months passed and Sara told me they wanted to get married even though it will be just their parents their priest and me. I was very happy for the couple as their desire to make this happen was clear.

So…. last week I took a flight to Boston for few days and I got to share this beautiful, joyful day with the couple and their parent (who by the way I am obsessed with, they are terrific). Sara and Brian celebrated their ceremony exactly like they wanted and one of my favorite part of the day was when they had their first dance right after their first kiss at the altar.

After the ceremony, we took photos in front of the church (this was a must for the family and couple). Soon after, we traveled to the Boston Public Garden where we took some iconic photos with the willow trees, this was the perfect sunny day day for it. After dinner, I met the couple and their parents by the seaport and YES! We took more photos! This was so much fun for me!

Why is this a photographer’s dream you might ask? Well, usually weddings go very fast and the most time we photographers have with the bride and groom is 45 minutes or so. I got to have Sara and Brian for many hours and in multiple locations at different times of the day. Unless you are doing a post wedding session you never get all this time. For me, after so many months of not photographing a wedding, this was a treat I will never forget!

I had an amazing time getting to know Sara and Brian and sharing their first part of their wedding. Having time with their parents brought us closer and I am confident when April 18th, 2021 comes everyone will be excited to reconnect and to celebrate one more time the love and commitment of such an amazing couple.

The couple was so appreciative of the experience they had with me that they insisted in taking me out to dinner few days after the wedding. This my friends is why I LOVE my job, the connections, friendships and bringing joy to people with not only my photographs but with the experience they have. Like Sara said over dinner “ We’ll be friends forever”.
